Your Child Will Learn

Public transportation moves people from one place to another

Here’s What to Do

  1. Plan a trip for your child to experience riding public transportation, like a bus, train, tram, light rail, or ferry
  2. Show your child a route map and point to your starting location and final destination; then use your finger to trace the route between these two places
  3. Let your child assist with you purchasing entry tickets
  4. Sit in a seat near a window or with a clear view so your child can see things while they ride
