Write simple words to describe my things

Here’s What to Do

  1. Have your child gather 2-3 things that belong to them, like small toys and or things they take to school everyday
  2. Work with your child to spell and write one descriptive word for each item
  3. For example: if your child selects a big toy, ask them to write the word big
  4. Review the letter sounds in each word

  • If your child struggles with writing, write words lightly and have them trace it
